Self-care gone out the window? Feeling exhausted, tired, stressed  and/or run down? Years dedicated to taking care of your children, partner, parents and/or career? In need of a mini-pamper and some self-care time? Not sure how to?

If you can say yes to any of the above and feel like you have been left at the bottom of the pile for attention and nurturing, then it's time for you to invest in 7 hours of self-love just for you.

Michelle, Glenda and Susan are three women who used to feel the same. We have each invested our best years in raising our children and supporting our partners whilst carving out our own careers. What got lost along the way was a sense of 'self' and the capacity for effective self-care. If you are asking 'who am I and what is it 'I' need?', we have the answer. Come and join us, share a special day together and begin your new venture of self-love.


Your seven hours will include stunning food, a nurturing yoga session, some mindfulness training, learning feel-good strategies that are at your finger tips and ways to pivot emotions. Relax, immerse yourself in nature and enjoy great company.


A little bit about us…


Michelle is an awesome yoga teacher. Trained in Hatha Yoga at Santosha Yoga Institute in Bali, she has been involved in health and wellbeing for over 30 years. She has worked in the health and fitness industry in gyms, as a Personal Trainer, as an Exercise Physiologist; writing programmes for people with chronic back pain, and taught Health and Physical Education in secondary schools for a number of years. Having found peace from yoga she now runs a boutique studio in Te Puna, helping people to lengthen, strengthen and find balance in both the body and mind.


Glenda is an award winning author of over 15 books. She has worked on a range of food related projects from cookbooks and developing nutrition education strategies for the vegetable industry and Heart Foundation to encouraging children to develop food skills. Her most notable work was that she set up 5+ A Day in New Zealand. Since giving up the corporate life Glenda has found much peace in living with less stress, she loves yoga, the outdoors and being with family and friends.


Susan is a 'insightful' Counsellor, combining intuitive and scientific skills to support clients to achieve well-being and improve self-worth. She is a mum of two, originally from the UK and is one of the few people in the world to have completed a degree in clinical hypnosis. Combining this with her teaching qualification, she ran a training college for new therapists. She often appeared on BBC radio talk shows as a specialist consultant for combating stress and anxiety.

Susan has found her 'peaceful place' by moving to New Zealand and acknowledging that it's ok to have self-care in her regime rather than being self-less. This includes permission to do the things she loves like painting, walking and yoga.


Investment in yourself:  $169 per person

Date: Saturday 27 February 10am - 5pm  (Postponement date in the event of bad weather: Saturday 6 March)

What you need: wear loose comfortable clothing, a yoga mat if you have one and

walking shoes if a walk appeals.
