"I can’t do yoga because I’m not flexible”.
As a yoga teacher I hear this all the time. If you’re currently thinking this, please keep reading. Yoga isn’t for “flexible people”. It can be for all people, what is important is to let your yoga practice meet you where you are at and that means having compassion for the body and acceptance of where you are at. You may not be fit, flexible, strong or have good balance. but if you change your mind set then yoga can be for you. Most people do yoga because it makes them feel good and along the way you get to strengthen, lengthen and find balance.
